The Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has declared the results of the main examination to recruit police sub inspectors in the state.
The examination was held on July 22 for 29,359 candidates who had cleared the preliminary examination, The preliminary examination was held for 4,28,200 candidates in two shifts on March 11 and one shift on March 15, 2018.
The number of candidates who have cleared the main examination is 10,161. The candidates who have cleared the main examination are required to appear for the physical efficiency test (PET) which will be held tentatively in September. The candidates will provided admit card and further instructions through email and SMS.
The commission has also released the data of the number of candidates who were absent during the exam and those who were disqualified. The candidates who have scored above 30% have qualified in the test while those who scored less than 30% marks have failed.
The number of candidates who had qualified for the main examination was 29,359.
The examination is being held to fill 1,717 vacancies.
